Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Shift: 8 hour Days (9:30am - 6pm)
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay: $2600 - $2700/wk
*Requirements:*
* No local candidates within 50 miles.
* Schedule 930a-6p
* 13 weeksMin of 2 years of experience within specialty.
* Required BLS.
* ARRT - Mammo
* Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
* *Winter Holiday Expectations*:
MUST work 1 major and 1 minor holiday.
*Duties*
* Perform mammography examinations with precision, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
* Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretation of images and timely reporting.
* Educate patients on the mammography process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
* Document procedures accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to position patients correctly for optimal imaging results.
* Stay current with advancements in mammography technology and techniques, including DEXA scans, CT scans, PET scans, and nuclear medicine.
