We are a unique private practice that has a rich history of long term patient care and long term employees. We strive to have personal connections with our patients to ensure absolute comfort and care in order to exceed their expectations! Part time days would be Monday/Tuesday. Office hours are Mon-Thurs 8am-4pm and every other Friday 8am-2pm
* Duties include, but not limited to sterilization, conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth with hand scaling and/or ultrasonic, and advising patients on oral health and preventative care. *We do not require upselling on products or procedures EVER!* Our expectations for you are reliability and trust building with patients of all ages. We would like you to have a deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies

*Responsibilities*
* Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible while in our office
* Sterilize dental instruments properly
* Perform initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
* Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
* Educate patients of all ages on proper oral care
* Take good diagnostic X-rays
* Maintain detailed documentation and charts on each patient

*Skills*
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA, OSHA)
* Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
* Outstanding communication skills
* A friendly personality
* Attention to detail
* Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
* Knowledge of Dentrix/Dexis a plus but not required
* Valid license to practice

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $47.00 - $52.00 per hour
