* Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
* Conduct vital sign checks and document patient medical histories accurately.
* Utilize Eaglesoft or Dentrix for patient records management and documentation review.
* Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
* Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
* Assist with medical imaging procedures as needed, ensuring proper handling of equipment.
* Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized patient care plans based on assessments.
* Stay informed about dental terminology, medical coding, and HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance in all practices.
*Requirements*
* Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
* Experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or dental assisting is preferred.
* Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation review processes is essential.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control measures, and dental terminology.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
* Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
