Rocky Ridge Animal Clinic is a small, family-owned and operated practice in Vestavia, AL. We are a small, close-knit team of highly skilled, compassionate, and caring veterinary professionals who strive to provide the highest quality of care for our patients. We treat our patients like family and treat them with respect and compassion.

We are looking for an honest, reliable, energetic Veterinary licensed Technician to join our team for full time employment. You will perform routine tasks such as patient history, drawing blood, place iv's, run cbc chemistry, prep & assist surgery, and sterilizing equipment, restrain animals etc etc.

*Requirements:*
*Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.*

* Must be able to work standing for extended periods of time.
* Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
* Must have a valid driver's license.
* Must have availability on weekends and holidays when needed.
* Must be able to pass a background check.
* Must have experience working in a veterinary hospital or clinic (1 year preferred).
* Must have experience working with dogs (preferred) experience with breeds such as Siberian Huskies, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, French Bulldogs, and American Bulldogs.
