*Job Summary:*
\*\*\*SIGN ON BONUS!!!\*\*\*We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality care to patients. Your role will involve assisting in the implementation of treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and providing support during therapy sessions. *Duties:*

* Assist in the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
* Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises and stretches.
* Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
* Educate patients on proper techniques for performing exercises at home.
* Collaborate with the physical therapy team to develop individualized care plans.
* Utilize various therapeutic modalities and equipment as directed by the physical therapist.
* Manual therapy.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

*Additional Duties:*

* Observe patients before, during, and after therapy, noting the patient's status and reporting it to a physical therapist.
* Help patients do specific exercises as part of the plan of care.
* Treat patients using a variety of techniques, such as massage and stretching.
* Use devices and equipment, such as walkers, to assist patients.
* Educate patients and family members about post-treatment care.
* Perform manual therapy techniques, including stretching exercises and massage.
* Clean treatment areas, set up therapy equipment, and wash linens.
* Assist patients in moving to or from therapy areas.
* Perform clerical tasks, such as answering phones and scheduling patients.

*Requirements:*

* Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
* Valid license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
* Experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
* Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
* Familiarity with occupational health practices and procedures.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
