*What you'll do*

* Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical evaluations.
* Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
* Monitor vital signs, manage IV infusions, and perform necessary procedures such as suturing and catheterization.
* Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
* Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards.
* Support patients with developmental disabilities through tailored nursing interventions.

*Basic qualifications*

* Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
* Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
* Experience in critical care settings or emergency medicine is highly desirable.

*Preferred qualifications*

* Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
* Previous experience in geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, or behavioral health is a plus.
* Skills in pain management techniques and acute pain management strategies.
* Ability to perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, and specimen collection/processing effectively.
