*Position Summary:*
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech Language Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will provide speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing therapy services to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Provide direct therapy services to residents with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
* Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to ensure continuity of care.
* Document resident progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
* Participate in care conferences and contribute to discharge planning as needed.
*Qualifications:*
* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
* Current Washington State SLP license.
* Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
* Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care setting preferred.
* Strong communication and documentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
