Job Overview

A leading New York City healthcare organization is seeking an experienced *Urology Registered Nurse (RN)* for a full-time contract role within a *mobile prostate cancer screening unit*. In this position, you'll travel across NYC boroughs to provide on-site screenings, patient education, and clinical support in community-based settings.

Responsibilities Include:

* Conduct prostate cancer screenings and patient assessments within mobile clinical units
* Perform *phlebotomy and PSA screenings* with precision and efficiency
* Educate patients on urologic health, screening procedures, and follow-up care
* Maintain accurate documentation of all screenings and test results
* Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to coordinate patient care and referrals
* Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards while in the field
* Operate effectively in a mobile setting, traveling between designated NYC locations

Qualifications:

* *Active New York State RN license* (required)
* *Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)* (required)
* *Minimum 2 years of experience in Urology* (required)
* *At least 2 years of recent experience in phlebotomy and PSA screening* (required)
* Strong patient education and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and adapt to mobile clinical environments
