CenTex Injury & Workers Comp is an outpatient physical therapy clinic specializing in industrial physical therapy and workers' compensation care. Our team is passionate about helping injured workers recover from job-related injuries and return to work safely and confidently.
We specialize in providing top-tier and specialized care to all our patients to ensure they receive the highest quality of treatment. We're currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team and help patients restore their function and independence.
This job is Monday through Thursday, 8:00-5:30 and Friday 8:00-12:00. No nights, no weekends, and no holidays.
$1,500 sign on bonus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality care
* Implement individualized treatment plans focusing on functional outcomes
* Lead patients through job-specific exercise and rehabilitation programs
* Educate patients and their families on therapy procedures
* Collaborate with the physical therapy team to ensure effective patient care
* Educate patients on injury prevention, body mechanics, and proper ergonomics
* Accurately document treatments and patient progress in EMR
* Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment
Requirements:
* Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
* Active PTA license (or license eligibility) in the state of Texas
* CPR/BLS certification
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
* Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices
* Training and experience in manual therapy
