*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in critical situations, demonstrating expertise in emergency nursing practices. This role requires the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhering to established standards of care. Currently hiring 2 positions - 1 full time day shift position and 1 full time nights position.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting with various emergency conditions.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Perform IV insertion and other necessary procedures with precision and care.
* Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
* Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and health management.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with hospital policies.
* Uphold standards of practice in areas such as Basic Life Support (BLS), pediatric care, geriatrics, behavioral health, and more.
*Experience*
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
* Previous experience in an Emergency Room or critical care setting is preferred.
* A strong understanding of nursing standards related to emergency care is essential.
