*About the Role*

P3SG's client is seeking a compassionate and skilled *Obstetrics RN* to provide exceptional care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum. This role includes monitoring maternal and fetal health, assisting in the birthing process, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment for families. When the OB unit is not active, you'll support the Med/Surg unit, ensuring continuity of care across departments.

*Qualifications*

* Graduate of an approved School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
* Current *Idaho RN license* or compact state equivalent
* Minimum 1 year of obstetric nursing experience
* Certifications: *BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring* (required upon hire); *PALS* within one year

*Key Responsibilities*

* Provide comprehensive care to obstetric patients, including laboring mothers, postpartum recovery, and newborns
* Assist with labor and delivery, including fetal monitoring and medication administration
* Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn health
* Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams
* Respond to emergencies and maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols
