Heartland Pathways is looking for a fulltime Mental Health Therapist at our Burlington, IA office.
*Education and Certifications Required*
* Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or behavioral health related field.
* Licensure or ability to obtain temporary licensure in the state of Iowa as an LMHC, LMFT, LMSW, LISW
* A minimum of two years experience providing behavioral health therapy to individuals, families and groups preferred.
* Experienced working with a variety of populations.
* Background check required
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, create individualized treatment plans and reviews, complete daily documentation and discharge summaries.
* Communicate professionally by phone, email and in writing and follow through in a timely manner with referral sources and involved parties with the care of clients.
* Provide group, individual, family and couples therapy.
* Document services through our Electronic Medical Record software.
* Maintain a positive and solution focused attitude and approach to problems and challenges both within the team and with clients.
* Preserve confidentiality without fail and uphold the highest level of professionalism and respect to both team members and clients.
