*California Animal Specialty and Emergency (CASE)* is a new, privately and locally owned Emergency/ Specialty small animal practice in Anaheim, CA. We are a 24/7 ER with specialists in Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Radiology, Cardiology (part-time), and Surgery.

The hospitals include a full array of in-house laboratory tests, digital radiography, C-arm, high-end ultrasound, Storz endoscopy, modern surgery rooms, 64-slice CT Scanner, and 1.5 T MRI. We are the only veterinary group in Southern California to offer stereotactic MRI-guided brain and spine biopsy (Brainsight Neuronavigation®).

We are currently recruiting *Emergency Department Veterinarians* for daytime, swing and overnight shifts. This position requires 1-3 years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine with an empathetic and diplomatic approach to client interactions. Critical thinking skills and a solutions-based approach are essential elements for success in this role:

• Previous completion of a small animal rotating internship (or 1-3 years of emergency veterinary experience as a primary clinician)

• Competency in emergency medicine. Ability to perform emergency surgical procedures is desirable but not mandatory.

• Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly collegiate environment

• Ability to direct and interact effectively with a team of DA's, triage and treatment technicians

• A high level of collegiality and communication with primary veterinarians and clients

• Licensure as a DVM in California
