We are a fun, upbeat private dental practice located in South Reno who is seeking a part-time registered dental hygienist to join our team.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills, sense of urgency, willingness to work as part of a team, great rapport with patients as well as other staff members and maintain a professional appearance.
Position requires valid Nevada license, local anesthetic certification and CPR card. Knowledge of Dentrix, Dexis and laser certification is a plus.
Responsibilities - Perform adult and child prophys, scaling/root planning, assist doctor with periodic exams with bitewings or full mouth x-rays, use of intra-oral camera, patient education on the use of hygiene aids and the value of the services we provide. As part of our office team mentality, hygienists will also maintain a clean and organized operatory, sharpen and maintain instruments, as well as help with instrument processing and sterilization and operatory turn-over.
Position is currently part time, 3 days a week with the option to choose your days between Mon - Thurs. The goal of this position is to become full time in the foreseeable future.
