Defining Wellness Centers, a premier full-continuum residential substance abuse treatment facility located in Brandon, Mississippi, is seeking a Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) to join our dynamic and compassionate clinical team.
*Position Overview*
The therapist will provide individual and group therapy to clients in a structured residential environment, addressing co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health. This role focuses on evidence-based, trauma-informed care and plays a vital part in the recovery journey of individuals seeking long-term healing.
*Duties*
* Provide trauma-informed individual and group therapy sessions
* Facilitate therapeutic programming within a full continuum of care
* Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
* Participate in daily clinical team meetings and case reviews
* Support clients in developing coping strategies and relapse prevention plans
* Stay informed about the latest developments in behavioral health and mental health counseling.
*Experience*
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
* Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, or social work.
* Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and behavior management strategies.
* Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics and individuals with disabilities.
* Knowledge of medical terminology, patient assessment processes, and medical records management.
* A background in research related to mental health practices is a plus.
