Private family/cosmetic practice seeks an energetic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are a fun and dynamic group looking to add a positive team member. Our practice strives to create a relationship with our patients, and we pride ourselves on quality care. We need someone who can communicate with patients about their periodontal/dental health and has gentle hands to care for our patients. The facility is modern with digital radiographs, CBCT, Dentrix and all the support you need to succeed. The offices philosophy is to work hard and play hard together; our staff is our most valuable-asset. We do not work weekends and will provide a competitive compensation package based on experience.

Our office needs someone for full time Monday-Thursday 8am - 5pm and someone part time to work 2-3 days per week. You are required to have a current dental hygiene license and CPR certification. Please send a resume and letter describing your qualifications.

*Clinical Duties and Job Expectations:*

• Seat patients and have proper set up

• Review health history and note any changes

• Identify patients concerns at appointment

• Take appropriate, quality radiographs

• Examination - chart

• Provide appropriate cleaning based off of examination - set recall in Dentrix

• Identify tools needed for home oral health and educate patient on how to use those tools

• Educate patients about products available - i.e. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, bleaching options, dry mouth products, etc.

• Chart all patient treatment and record date and service rendered

• Present treatment plans to patients as needed

• Schedule appointments

• Maintain certification in CPR, OSHA and HPPAA

• When working, conduct yourself in a professional manner

• Be flexible as changes occur in the daily schedule

• Be flexible as protocols and new implications will be made as our office continues to grow

• Work as a positive team member to provide the highest quality of dental care for our patients

• Follow HIPAA guidelines

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
