Job Summary
Moundbuilders General Dentistry, privately owned and operated by Dr. Ben Jump and Dr. Susan Robertson, is seeking a full-time *Registered Dental Hygienist* to join our team. We are a community-based practice focused on patient-centered care, longer appointment times, and a healthy work-life balance.
Pay & Schedule
* *Pay:* $42-$55 per hour (based on experience)
* *Schedule:* 32 hours per week
* Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (lunch 1:00-2:00 PM)
* Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (two 15-minute breaks, no dedicated lunch)
* *No evenings or weekends*
Responsibilities
* Provide preventative and periodontal care, including scaling, polishing, fluoride, and oral cancer exams
* Take radiographs and record periodontal charting
* Evaluate gingival health and assist in treatment planning
* Educate patients on oral health, prevention, and home care
* Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure excellent patient care
Qualifications
* Current license as a *Registered Dental Hygienist* (required)
* Valid X-ray, CPR, and First Aid certification (required)
* Minimum of 3 years' experience as a hygienist (preferred)
* Local Anesthetic & Nitrous Oxide certifications (preferred)
* Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
