Sunshine ABA Therapy is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support parent communication, school collaboration, and transitions for children receiving ABA therapy. This position focuses on post-diagnostic parent meetings, school liaison responsibilities, communication oversight, and practicum student supervision through the Indiana University School of Social Work.
*Position Overview:*
The LCSW will serve as the primary liaison between families, ABA clinicians, and school partners. Responsibilities include leading parent meetings after diagnosis, supporting transitions between services, maintaining communication with schools, and supervising practicum students. This is a communication-centered, family-facing role within our clinical team.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Lead post-diagnostic parent meetings to review next steps and available services
* Serve as the parent liaison to provide ongoing communication, resources, and updates
* Provide regular parent updates and participate in treatment planning
* Act as the school liaison, maintaining communication with teachers and administrators
* Support school transitions, classroom coordination, and care planning
* Attend school meetings, case conferences, and transition discussions as needed
* Coordinate communication across ABA teams, families, and school partners
* Oversee client transitions, including start of care and school-to-clinic changes
* Serve as a Practicum Supervisor for IU School of Social Work students (training provided)
* Assist families with community resources and service navigation
*Qualifications:*
* Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Indiana (required)
* Experience in school social work, ABA, behavioral health, autism services, or family support preferred
* Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
* Ability to manage multiple families, transitions, and communication needs
* Experience supervising students or willingness to complete supervisor training
*Compensation and Benefits:*
* Salary range: $70,000-$80,000 per year, based on experience
