*Job Summary*

PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking experienced *ICU Registered Nurses* for a 13-week *night shift* travel contract. This role requires strong cardiovascular ICU experience, including open heart and balloon pump exposure. First-time travelers are welcome if all clinical requirements are met.

* *Duration:* 13 weeks
* *Shifts:* Nights - *3x12s* (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
* *Weekends:* Every other weekend
* *Call:* None
* *Float:* Yes - within hospital
* *Orientation:* 12 hours (billable)
* *Positions:* 2

*Required Experience & Background*

* *Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience* (must be recent)
* Community hospital ICU experience *required*
* Travel experience *not required* (first-time travelers accepted)
* *Strong cardiovascular ICU experience required*, including:
* Open heart recovery
* Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
* Titration of vasoactive drips
* Must be comfortable managing *high-acuity* adult and geriatric patients

*Required Certifications*

* *ACLS* (AHA)
* *BLS* (AHA)
* *NIHSS*
* *VIP, MAB, or CPI* - _must be in-person course_
* Onsite EKG competency required
* Must pass *Relias EKG test* prior to start

*Key ICU Skills Required*

* Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias
* Arterial line management
* Central line & PICC line management
* Blood product administration
* IV therapy & starting IVs
* Care of ventilated patients
* High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC)\*
* BiPAP/CPAP management\*
* ABG interpretation
* Suctioning (ETT/NT)
* Continuous IV sedation
* Cardiac drips & vasoactive drip titration
* Management of acute/chronic renal failure\*

*Scrubs:* Royal Blue

*Compliance Requirements*

* Active *CA RN License* required at submission
* RTO must be submitted at time of submittal
* *No RTO allowed in the first 2 weeks*
* Max RTO based on approval - cannot add more after submission
* 2 clinical references required
* Pre-start modules required (billable: 8 clinical + 2 non-clinical hours)
