*Duties*
* Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT scans based on physician orders and patient needs.
* Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain optimal images while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
* Apply aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infections and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
* Review images for quality assurance and communicate findings appropriately to physicians for diagnostic evaluation.
* Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and patient information in accordance with hospital policies.
* Operate advanced imaging equipment with precision, adhering to radiation safety standards and protocols.
* Assist in emergency situations requiring rapid imaging assessment.
* Stay current with evolving medical imaging technologies and techniques through ongoing professional development.
*Qualifications*
* Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent licensure required.
* Proven experience with diagnostic radiology, including X-ray & CT.
* Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation processes essential for accurate imaging interpretation.
* Strong understanding of aseptic technique and radiation safety protocols.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of patient care.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are necessary for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
