Hometown Family Dentistry is looking to add a full time, motivated hygienist to our team!
The ideal candidate will be a naturally happy individual with a positive attitude, a self starter, team player and will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care.
Our office environment is laid back, fun and like a family. Our core purpose is to provide conservative, gentle and friendly care for the entire family.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
* Access and record patient medical history and vital signs.
* Assist dentist during exams and procedures as needed.
* Take dental x-rays.
* Sterilize and sharpen instruments.
* Educate patient in oral hygiene and preventative care.
* Adhere to all HIPPA and OSHA rules and regulations.
* Collaborate with all team members to ensure efficient practice operations.
*Qualifications*
* Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
* Proficient in chairside assisting and patient care
* Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records
* Experience with dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix
* Knowledge of aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations
