Empowering Minds Counseling (EMC), a *private practice in Ottawa, IL*, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated *Licensed Clinical Counselor/Social Worker *to join our unique, multi-specialty team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in _mental health counseling _and be skilled in _various therapeutic modalities._ This role involves working with individuals, families, and groups to provide support and therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mental health and well-being. The Clinical Therapist will work collaboratively with our MHNP and other professionals to develop treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.

*Duties*

* Provide individual couples, and/or family therapy sessions in person or virtually;
* Conduct intake assessments and create personalized treatment plans;
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation;
* Use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or trauma-informed therapy;
* Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals and support;
* Participate in supervision and professional development opportunities.

*Qualifications*

* Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field;
* Active Illinois license (LCPC or LCSW);
* At least 1-2 years of clinical experience;
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds;
* Commitment to providing empathetic and culturally competent care for an individual case load.

* Must be authorized to work in the United States;
* Must be cleared by a pre-employment criminal background check, employment and education verification, reference check, and drug screen.

Pay: $57,200.00 - $91,520.00 per year
