I am looking for an enthusiastic and creative PT who is willing and able to work independently between 15-35 hours a week in an outpatient orthopedic practice for a long term position. If you enjoy autonomy and the ability to set your schedule/work hours then this is the job for you! The western mountains of Boone, NC are a beautiful and cool place to live with endless outdoor activities and cultural offerings. Ideally this person would be interested in becoming a practice owner and see the value of an established practice (13+ years) to hit the ground running however this is not a requirement. If becoming a practice owner is desired then owner financing is a possibility which would allow the business monthly income to pay for the purchase of the practice over time and allow the new owner to have an asset to sell when he/she retires. I will treat this PT as a partner who has an equal say in the growth and health of the practice so that we can make the greatest impact with those in our community who we have the best skill set to help improve qualify of life. I would also expect to teach this PT and learn from this PT as we go along in this journey. Responsibilities include examination and treatment, documentation and submission of charges using Athena Health Care. A current NC PT license is required. Skills desired include examination, treatment focusing on therapeutic activities, neuromuscular re-education, self care and home management, manual therapy and modalities as needed. I will provide education in molding for orthotics and the use of a Thor Cold Laser and use of documentation/billing system. Experience with Kinesiotaping, Postural Restoration, dry needling, pelvic floor is a plus but not required. You will be working with a part time office manager who works remotely. Temporary housing could be negotiated if needed. _Related keywords: physical therapist, physical therapy_
