Responsibilities: Coverage needed for small, private practice specializing in vestibular disorders
- Evaluate and assess patients with vestibular and balance conditions and create individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises as appropriate
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in physical therapy
Skills:
- Experience treating vestibular disorders, or strong desire to learn/train in specialized area
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to provide effective patient care with empathy and compassion
- Proficient in using therapeutic equipment and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations
