*School-Based Occupational Therapist *

* $40-$45 per hour

*Position Summary:*
The position of School-Based Occupational Therapist provides coordinated Occupational therapy to school-aged children. They plan, implement, and evaluate students to provide appropriate fine motor and/or sensory integration skills. They evaluate occupational roles and occupational performance of students with physical and/or cognitive impairments. They provide interventions based on student deficits and they collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

*Education/License/Certification:*

* Masters, or PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution of higher education
* Current Active State License to practice Occupational Therapy in Oregon.

Experience/Requirements:

* Pediatric focus and/or School-Based experience preferred.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information.
* Knowledge of therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
* Excellent communication - verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
* Responsive to requests.
* Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insurance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
