*Duties*

* Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
* Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
* Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, dietary advice, and post-treatment care to enhance their dental health journey.
* Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories.
* Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
* Support infection control procedures by sterilizing instruments, managing dental supplies, and maintaining a sterile environment in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow efficiently.
* Stay current with advancements in dental terminology, dental coding, and best practices in general dentistry.

*Skills*

* Proficiency in dental software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Denticon, etc.)
* Anesthesia certificate is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques.
* Ability to accurately perform vital signs assessment and interpret medical imaging results.
* Excellent patient care skills.
* Familiarity with HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy and data security.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
