We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused *Staff Pharmacist* to support medication services for residents in long-term care communities. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who values consistency, teamwork, and meaningful clinical impact without the high-pressure environment of retail pharmacy.

You will play a key role in ensuring medication accuracy, regulatory compliance, and a smooth operational workflow while partnering closely with our technicians, facility nurses, and internal leadership.

*How You'll Contribute*

* Accurately dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies based on prescriptions from licensed prescribers.
* Verify prescription accuracy and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Manage daily pharmacy operations including opening duties, system start-up, and communication checks.
* Review and approve technicians' work in data entry, packing, labeling, and card preparation.
* Answer incoming calls, assist with new orders, address medication questions, and support nursing home staff and families.
* Ensure C2 and controlled prescriptions meet DEA requirements, including accurate monthly submissions.
* Oversee ordering, inventory management, and timely medication delivery.
* Process refill requests, new orders, and STAT/Emergency medication needs.
* Support technicians during high-volume periods to maintain workflow efficiency.
* Assist with special projects, inventory counts, and billing resolution as needed.
* Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional appearance standards.
* Fulfill other duties as assigned to maintain smooth pharmacy operations.

*What You Bring*

* *Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)* degree required.
* *Active Registered Pharmacist License* in good standing.
* Experience in *long-term care pharmacy* highly preferred.
* Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

*Essential Physical Functions*

* Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
* Ability to lift and carry up to *25 lbs*.
* Manual dexterity to prepare and dispense medications.
* Visual and auditory ability to perform pharmacy duties accurately.

*Work Schedule & Compensation*

* *F*ull-time; pharmacist hours may vary based upon operational needs.
