*Responsibilities*

* Diagnose illnesses and injuries using veterinary terminology and clinical skills, including laboratory tests and imaging techniques.
* Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each animal's needs, utilizing knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy.
* Perform surgical procedures with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
* Administer vaccinations, medications, and other treatments while ensuring proper animal restraint and handling.
* Assist in emergency critical care situations, providing immediate interventions for animals in distress or trauma.
* Conduct animal catheterization, and other specialized procedures as needed for comprehensive pet care.
* Educate pet owners on animal husbandry, nutrition, grooming, and preventive health measures to promote long-term wellness.
* Maintain detailed medical records of treatments, laboratory results, and procedures following veterinary standards.
* Support laboratory testing processes by collecting samples accurately and maintaining sterile environments.
* Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and veterinary regulations during procedures involving animal restraint or invasive techniques.

*Requirements*

* Proven veterinary experience with a strong background in animal care across various species; prior veterinary critical care experience is highly valued.
* Demonstrated ability in animal restraint techniques and handling multiple species safely and effectively.
* Solid understanding of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
* Experience performing surgical procedures including catheterization and aseptic techniques.
* Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures relevant to veterinary diagnostics.
* Excellent communication skills to educate pet owners clearly about health concerns and treatment options.
* Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail during complex procedures.
* A commitment to compassionate animal handling combined with a proactive approach toward continuous learning in veterinary medicine.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
