*Job Overview*
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality services at the established place of busines in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations of the Stigler Health and Wellness Center, Inc Board. This role involves providing expert medication management, patient care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The Pharmacist will play a vital role in optimizing patient outcomes through medication therapy management, patient assessments, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
*Duties*
* Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all safety protocols and legal requirements.
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy and address potential drug interactions.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, and verifying medication supplies to ensure availability.
* Compound medications following aseptic techniques and proper sterile procedures for IV infusions and other compounded drugs.
* Provide immunizations and administer medication injections as needed, following proper medical procedures.
* Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and pharmacy software for documentation, prescription processing, and patient data management.
* Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence strategies to promote optimal health outcomes.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams on medical management plans, pain management protocols, and patient care strategies.
* Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security.
* Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advancements in pharmacy practice and healthcare standards.
*Requirements*
* Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the state of employment.
* Completion of a pharmacy residency program or equivalent clinical pharmacy experience.
* Knowledge of pharmacy software systems (EMR/EHR), compounding techniques, and inventory management tools.
* Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology principles.
* Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical management practices related to acute care settings.
