Villa Maria is seeking a compassionate and motivated *Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)* to join our dedicated *in-house rehab team* in Mulvane, KS. *What You'll Do*
* Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents achieve their highest level of function.
* Deliver skilled, evidence-based therapy interventions that promote mobility, balance, and overall wellness.
* Collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team-including nursing, occupational therapy, and speech therapy-to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
* Educate residents and families on home exercises, safety, and strategies for continued progress.
* Accurately document all treatments and outcomes within the EMR system.
* Foster a positive, encouraging environment that supports resident confidence and success.
*Qualifications*
* Current and valid *Kansas Physical Therapist Assistant license*.
* Strong clinical and communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional care.
* Team-oriented approach with a commitment to quality, integrity, and compassion.
*Preferred Experience*
* Previous experience in a *skilled nursing facility (SNF)* or *inpatient rehab* setting.
* Familiarity with *interdisciplinary care coordination* and long-term care best practices.
