*Job Summary*

The ideal candidate for the Speech-Language Pathologist position at CCSA will demonstrate a commitment to supporting student communication, language development, and academic success. This individual will collaborate with teachers, support staff, administrators and families to provide high-quality speech and language services to students in grades K-12. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders and contribute to a comprehensive and dynamic educational program aligned with Pennsylvania and IDEA guidelines.

*Responsibilities and Qualities*

* Possess Pennsylvania certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
* Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals in compliance with IDEA requirements.
* Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers to support language development and communication strategies within the instructional environment.
* Maintain accurate and timely records, documentation, and progress reports.
* Actively participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and parent conferences.
* Demonstrate strong organizational skills, professionalism, and effective communication with students, families, and colleagues.

*Qualifications *

* Hold or be eligible for appropriate Pennsylvania certification for the position.
* Satisfactory Act 34, Act 151, Act 168, and FBI clearances
* Desire to teach in an urban setting.
