Exciting NP or PA Opportunity in HBO and Wound Care at CoxHealth in Springfield, MO

Job Description:

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our HBO and Wound Care team. In this role, you will round on new and existing hospitalized patients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and manage wound care. You will also oversee follow-up care for discharged patients and rotate through the new Wound Vac Clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Round on new consults and existing hospitalized patients, focusing on HBO therapy and wound care.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as SWOT, Physical Therapy, and Case Management.

• Round on clinic patients admitted to the hospital and manage their wound care.

• Coordinate follow-up appointments for patients post-discharge.

• Rotate through the Wound Vac Clinic, providing care for patients requiring advanced wound management.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with hours between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Qualifications:

• NP or PA with appropriate licensure.

• Experience in wound care or HBO therapy preferred.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
