Position Summary

Froedtert ThedaCare, a highly successful northeast Wisconsin non-profit health system, seeks a new grad or experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Harbor Town Medical Office in Manitowoc, WI location. This position allows for an opportunity to work in a collaborative and quality driven provider team.

The Harbor Town medical office building is 88,000 square foot facility housing multiple specialties offering an ideal practice location for collaborative, impactful patient care.  Located just off interstate 43 in Manitowoc, the location offers convenient, accessible care to those living in Manitowoc County and the surrounding areas.  The facility houses: Audiology, ENT, Gyn, laboratory services, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Pharmacy, Podiatry, PM&R Primary Care, radiology services and rehabilitation services (PT, OT, SLP). 

The facility also offers a 28,000 square foot Wellness Center to the community with special discounts for staff.  The Wellness Center offers onsite cardiovascular equipment, weight training equipment, group exercise classes, a walking track, lap and warm water pools, sauna and executive locker room amenities.  The campus is a collaborative and thriving facility where one can build a successful practice.

In this role, you'll have the backing of a respected health system, and the collaboration of collegial Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. We're committed to giving you the tools, staff, and support you need to focus on what you do best - caring for patients.

Practice Highlights:

  • Full-time opportunity to practice Acute Care medicine
    • 0.7-1.0 FTE; 1.0 FTE = 35 patient contact hours
  • 1:3 weekend coverage

    • APPs staff the walk in the clinic during operating hours with a collaborating physician always available
  • Strong organizational infrastructure with nursing, administrative, and specialty support
  • Epic EMR utilized system-wide with integrated DAX copilot and Dragon dictation tools
