Join Our Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner – General Medicine AR and Make a Difference in Veterans’ Lives

Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal medicine, family medicine, or related fields
- Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Ability to perform non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Reliable and self-motivated with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience with Veterans' evaluations or similar government-mandated assessments
- Familiarity with medical documentation and report submission procedures
- Experience with telehealth or remote assessments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP preferred)
- At least 2 years’ clinical experience in general medicine
- Prior experience in compensation and pension exams is advantageous, but not mandatory
Other Requirements:
- Must have own office space located within the specified mileage radii for each site
- Ability to work on a PRN, ongoing basis, with flexible hours including half-day and full-day shifts
- Reliable internet access and necessary medical equipment for conducting assessments
- Willingness to perform exam-related administrative tasks such as report writing and follow-up documentation
- Local candidates only; travel included in rates
This position offers a competitive flat rate of $600 for half-day (4-hour) shifts and $1,200 for full-day (5-hour or more) shifts, with a one-time bonus of $650 upon completing training and performing initial exams.
