Join Our Dynamic Healthcare Team as a Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Urgent Care

We are seeking experienced Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to deliver exceptional patient services across multiple urgent care locations. As a key provider in our urgent care centers, you will handle high-volume patient care for both adult and pediatric patients (6 months+), ensuring each individual receives compassionate, efficient treatment. Your expertise in managing a diverse caseload—including procedures such as I&D, laceration repair, and ear irrigation—will be essential to maintaining our high standards of care. You will work independently as the sole provider at your assigned site, utilizing your clinical skills and soft skills to foster positive patient and staff interactions.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 12 months of direct urgent care or primary care experience treating adults and pediatrics.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system, with demonstrated competency.
- Valid Board Certification (BC) in Family Practice, NCCPA certification for PAs, or NP certification with Family Certification.
- Current BLS certification and valid NC DEA license.
- Ability to work independently as the sole practitioner in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills suitable for one-on-one patient and staff interactions.
- Flexibility to support multiple locations within a 60-mile radius.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience performing minor procedures such as I&D, lac repair, or ear irrigation.
- Previous experience working in urgent care settings.
- Familiarity with off-site supervising physicians and credentialing processes.
Preferred Education and Experience
- A minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience in urgent or family practice.
- Board-certified or eligible for certification within your specialty.
- Recent experience with EMR systems, particularly Epic, with ability to complete modified training.
Other Requirements
- Scheduled participation in mandatory EMR and onboarding training sessions on set Wednesdays.
- Ability to pass a clinical screening process.
- Willingness to provide documentation for credentialing and Medicare enrollment.
- Hourly pay rate of $1.00.
- No travel reimbursement; mileage support available.
- Support from a multidisciplinary team, including center managers, medical assistants, and supervising physicians (offsite for APPs).
- Availability to start on 01/21/2026, with dates to be discussed.
