We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide top-tier anesthesia care at UMH Ionia. This vital role offers independence, excellent hours, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive hospital environment. As a key provider, you will support general surgical and endoscopy procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort across a diverse patient demographic.

Required Skills:

• Current and unrestricted CRNA certification
• Proven experience with general surgical, pediatric, and geriatric patients
• Proficiency in administering nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
• Strong airway management and ventilation skills
• Ability to work independently with remote supervision
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in trauma settings or Level 4 trauma centers
• Additional certifications in advanced anesthesia techniques
• Prior experience working in a hospital operating room and endoscopy settings

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nurse Anesthesia
• Minimum of 2 years of professional anesthesia practice, preferably in a hospital environment
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Ability to start within approximately 60 days of credentialing
• Willingness to work day shifts (7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
• No on-call duties required
• Valid state licensure and certifications
• Willingness to travel reimbursement as applicable
