Englewood Health Hospital Outpatient Department (Various Locations, NJ) is seeking skilled Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Breast Care or Cardiology experience to join our healthcare team, committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our community.

Job Summary:

  • Department: HOPD Journal Square
  • Location: Jersey City/Fair Lawn/ Emerson/Woodland Park/Englewood, NJ
  • Unit: Mammography/Cardiology 
  • Hours: 8am-4pm
  • Expert clinician and patient advocate in a particular specialty or subspecialty of nursing practice.
  • Can be a credentialed Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Provides direct patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning health promotion and preventive care within this specialized area of practice and prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of health problems according to established joint nursing/medical protocols.
  • Sub-roles of the APN include education, research and consultation.
  • Involved in indirect practice activities with the goal of improving the quality of care across the continuum of care.

Job Essentials:

  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in area of expertise; willing to train
  • Conduct Computer Tomography (CT Scan) studies of the heart
  • Potential to conduct Nuclear Stress studies in the future
  • Previous leadership/teaching experience preferred
  • Prior experience in Breast/Cardiology preferred

 

Education Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required
     

License/Certification/Registry Requirements:

  • Current New Jersey Professional Nurse License
  • Current New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse License
  • New Jersey CDS and DEA Registrations
  • Current BLS and ACLS
  • IV Certification

 
Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law.  The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
Minimum Compensation: $55.00/hour - $75.00/hour
