Required Skills:

• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) in good standing
• Prior clinical experience in general surgery or related surgical disciplines
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures, patient assessment, and post-operative care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under supervision and adhere to protocols and safety standards

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in breast surgery or specialty surgical procedures
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
• Additional certifications in advanced life support or surgical assisting

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• At least 2 years of relevant surgical experience preferred, with experience in breast surgery considered an asset
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in the facility's jurisdiction

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours when required, with OT compensation after 40 hours per week
• Responsiveness with paperwork and documentation to ensure compliance and smooth scheduling
• Willingness to start promptly once credentialing is complete; start date may be contingent on file completion
