Central Kansas FQHC Seeks PMHNP to Join Team - Base Salary + Production Bonus, Sign On and Relocation Bonuses

Our community health center, a PCMH Level III facility, is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medication management and MAT/MOUD. Join our team of providers who have won multiple national awards including, ten Gold Level Quality Leader Awards, Million Hearts and eight National Quality Leader Awards.

Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible for evaluating clients in order to diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders including substance abuse, emotional, behavioral or mental health disorders.  
  • Establish and follow up with medication regimen if warranted by evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Board certified PMHNP or PA with at least two years of psychiatric experience preferred. Will consider new graduates with appropriate clinical education.
  • Board certified PMHNP or PA
  • Active Kansas License required.
  • Current DEA required.

The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) partners with hospitals, private practices, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and other organizations to help strengthen the health care workforce in rural and urban under resourced communities across the State. KRRC services are designed to assist Kansas communities in recruiting and retaining physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health professionals, and behavioral health professionals. In addition to offering recruitment support for Kansas health care facilities and job search support to a variety of health care providers, the KRRC offers resources for CV/resume building, interview prep, and contract negotiation.  

Currently partnering with 55+ health care organizations, we serve as their initial point of contact and liaison in recruiting those seeking to serve in rural and urban underserved communities.
