What You Will Do:
  • Deliver high-quality psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for inpatient clients.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Apply evidence-based practices and follow established protocols to support recovery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety and compliance standards.

Required Skills:
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure with specialization in Psychiatry.
  • Proven experience in psychiatric patient care, preferably in inpatient settings.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and documentation protocols.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with crisis intervention or CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) training.
  • Knowledge of local/state mental health laws and regulations.
  • Bilingual abilities pertinent to the patient population served.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on psychiatric nursing experience.
  • Past involvement in inpatient mental health units preferred.

Other Requirements:
  • CPI training is a Massachusetts State requirement, not a credentialing prerequisite — candidates should be aware of this prior to hire.
  • Flexibility to work the inpatient unit for a 4-6 week assignment starting February 23, 2026.
  • Ability to secure and maintain necessary licenses and certifications.
  • Willingness to comply with all relevant health and safety protocols.
