Required Skills

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas or eligibility for licensure.
• Proven experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or related fields.
• Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Ability to perform concise, accurate assessments and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and organized with a professional demeanor.

Nice to Have Skills

• Previous experience with Veteran healthcare or government contracts.
• Background in compensation and pension evaluations or similar assessments.
• Familiarity with telehealth or remote assessment procedures.
• Certification in musculoskeletal or physical assessment techniques.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Master's degree or higher in Nursing.
• At least 1-2 years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner in general or internal medicine.
• Experience conducting medical evaluations for benefits or similar programs.

Other Requirements

• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the specified locations or own a suitable office within this radius.
• Willingness to work PRN, half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts, including occasional travel.
• Must successfully complete credentialing, training, and onboarding processes.
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities involved.
• Availability for quick onboarding and ongoing assessments, with administrative follow-up as necessary.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $402.00
• Flat Rate for Half-Day (up to 4 hours): $600
• Flat Rate for Full Day (5 hours or more): $1200
• One-Time Bonus: $650 for completing training and first exams
• Weekly pay via direct deposit
