Required Skills:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• Current Board Certification in Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP) or equivalent
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine or primary care
• Strong clinical assessment skills, including physical exams and health history evaluation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic clinical environments

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Prior experience in urgent care or outpatient settings
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited institution
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience preferred

Other Requirements:

• Ability to obtain or hold a current Texas medical license and Nurse Practitioner certification
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary
• No travel restrictions within Houston or surrounding areas unless specified
• Candidates must pass background checks and credentialing processes prior to start date
