Advanced Practice Provider Electrophysiology

Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) – EP Heart Rhythm Specialist – Murray UT

About this role:

The EP Heart Rhythm Specialist will work with 9 other EP APPs as well as 7 EP Physicians who are committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience.?

• This position will be housed at Intermountain Health Medical Center (IMED) in both a clinic and hospital setting
• Your hours would be 4 ten hour days per week Mon – Fri (day off will vary)
• Call is 1:10 weeknights and weekends
• Weekend call is 24 hours Sat and Sun and requires onsite rounding from 8am – 12pm on Saturday only

Responsibilities include:

• Pre/post procedure assistance for devices
• EP consults and admissions
• Device Management
• In hospital procedures can include loop recorders, cardioversions, TEE cardioversions
• Clinic hours are spent in more of a consultative setting (no device interrogations)

What you’ll bring: 

• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program 

• Active, unobstructed Utah license, or the ability to obtain one 

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process 
• Experience in Electrophysiology as an Advanced Practice Provider, highly desired
• Previous Loop Recorder experience and privileging is a plus, but not required
