Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Pediatric Dermatology

The Driscoll Health System seeks a full time Advanced Practice Provider to join our established Pediatric Dermatology clinic. Position is open to recent graduates from Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner schooling. Texas license must be complete before starting. No experience necessary, however, preferred.

Candidate must be passionate about working alongside physicians and other mid-level providers. The APP is responsible for participating in the diagnosis, treatment and supportive care of pediatric patients. The APP collects documents and analyzes patient data, and when necessary, collaborates in the development and implementation of testing and treatment protocols. The APP will also assist and/or perform dermatologic office procedures and injections under the direction of the physician. Travel to satellite clinics will be required. This position is full time Monday – Friday 8am-5pm. No weekend call. The ideal candidate:

Nurse Practitioner:

  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas.
  • Dermatology experience is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Current BLS and PALS

Physician Assistant:

  • Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas.
  • Dermatology experience is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Current BLS and PALS
