Hiring Experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Night Shift Hospitalist PRN Position

Seeking an experienced Hospitalist APP to join our established group at St. Luke’s – Brazosport Hospital, less than an hour from Houston. 

IES, Integrative Emergency Services,  is a physician-owned group based in Dallas, Texas.

Brazosport Hospital is located on a beautiful, 25-acre campus in Lake Jackson, Texas. Offering state-of-the-art diagnostic and comprehensive treatment services, this hospital is home to a 154-bed patient tower, level III trauma center, advanced cardiac care center, and full-service, multidisciplinary cancer center. 

Hospitalist Service

• Encounters per Day:  45-55 (including admissions)
 
• Admissions per Day:  10-12
 
• Staffing: 
  • Days:  2 Physicians & 2 APPs
   
  • Nights:  1 APP on site with 1 physician on call
 
• Shifts: 
  
  • Days: 6a - 6p & 8a - 8p
   
  • Nights:  6p - 6a
   
 
• Procedures:  Not required (ER physicians & Surgeon on staff to assist)
 
• Respond to Codes:  Yes   (ER physicians & Surgeon on staff to assist)
 
• EMR:  Meditech (version 6)
 
• Dictation:  Dragon

Qualifications:

• Two-three years of post-grad Hospitalist APP experience
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Texas license (or eligible)
• DEA
• BLS & ACLS

Compensation:

• W2
• $90/hr ($85/hr & $5/hr night shift differential)
