Bon Secours Mercy Health is hiring an NP/ PA to join Virginia Orthopedic Spine & Specialists group in Suffolk, VA.  The ideal candidate will help to sustain the current patient load and help with patient access.  This is a fulltime opportunity with both inpatient and outpatient schedules to include hospital rounding and call.  Opportunities to work along side in the OR is available.   Orthopedic practice will be in upper extremity and sports medicine. Experience is preferred but willing to consider new grads with proper training.  

Job Details:

• Fulltime – Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
• Call Schedule: 1 and 7, rotating weekends.
• Hospital Credentialing: Maryview Medical Center & Harbour View ED
• Average Patients per day: 30 – All adult Geriatric and sports
• EMR: EPIC inpatient and outpatient
• Special Skills and Training Required: Will consider new grads, experience in Orthopedics is preferred. 
• Special Procedures: Office injections, follow up care, history & physicals, post operative care.  Will see new and established patients. 
• Practice Support in place: CMA’s, LPNs, X-ray techs, etc.
