NP / Nurse Practitioner or PA / Physician Assistant - Adult Endocrinology - Toledo, OH

ProMedica Physicians Adult Endocrinology is currently seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy, well-established practice in Toledo, Ohio.  

Highlights:

• Practice currently consists of 5 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
• Office hours: Monday-Friday – no hospital rounds
• Practice call only
• Patients ages 18 years and older who are newly diagnosed or have long standing chronic medical conditions such as Diabetes, Thyroid Disease and other conditions involving the endocrine system.
• Large referral base in a busy practice seeing 170 encounters/day
• Ability to perform in-house ultrasounds and biopsies on patients who have Thyroid nodules
• There is also in-house Nuclear Medicine Department so that uptake and scans can be performed
• Great team with 15+ years of fostering teamwork and quality patient care

 Nurse Practitioner-Family Nurse Practitioner

• Masters of nursing (MSN) degree
• Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Ohio
• Certificate of Authority to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment toward achieving customer/patient satisfaction.
• Experience managing patients with Diabetes, Thyroid Disorders or other conditions of the endocrine system.
• Post offer pre-employment required to include drug screen

Physician Assistant

• Masters degree 
• Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Ohio PA-C
• Certificate of Authority to practice is required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
