Ranked a Best Children’s Hospital by US News and World Report, Akron Children's Hospital is the largest pediatric healthcare system in Northeast Ohio, providing more than 1 million patient encounters each year. Akron Children’s Hospital is the only freestanding pediatric hospital in Northeast Ohio and the 8^th largest children’s hospital in the country. We are a major teaching affiliate of Northeast Ohio Medical University.
