CHEMED was founded in 2009 to provide a comprehensive, integrated system of health care to individuals and families in Lakewood and the surrounding areas. We provide outstanding preventative, treatment and health education services.

As a leader in bringing quality, integrated medicine to the underprivileged and underinsured population, CHEMED has become the go-to community health care center in the Lakewood, NJ area (and beyond). We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that services its patients as a primary care facility. Our departments include Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Behavioral Health, Women’s Health, and Dentistry.

CHEMED is situated in a young, family oriented community close to the beautiful Jersey Shore, and is a little over 1 hour from Philadelphia and a little over 1 hour from NYC. There are fabulous beaches, nature reserves, hiking and parks just minutes away from the facility. CHEMED is located near the Garden State Parkway and NJ I-195, making it extremely accessible for commuters traveling from North, South, East or West of Lakewood.
