The greater Toledo area is located at the mouth of the Maumee River and Lake Erie.  This community features top ranked schools, both public and private, award winning Metro parks, and a wide variety of cultural activities.  Known as “The Glass City,” Toledo is world headquarters to Libbey Glass and Owens Corning, who sponsors an LPGA tournament locally each year.  The Toledo Art Museum houses over 30,000 objects of Art including major collections of glass art, as well as classrooms for the Art Department at the University of Toledo.  The Toledo Symphony and the Toledo Ballet perform at the Stranahan Theatre, which also hosts a traveling series of Broadway performances.  The Toledo Zoo is nestled along the banks of the Maumee River, home to a wide variety of animals as well as a Sunday evening concert series in the summer months.  The Toledo Mud Hens baseball team and the Toledo Walleyes hockey team are also at home here.
